First Experiment

4/24/14 First Try: At first I didn't know what to do. It was my first time experiencing a hands on project on my own. I didn't know how to make banana bread correctly, because i've never done it before. I finished the banana bread and put it in all of the ingredients and put it into the oven. I am doing the chocolate portion next class. It was in for an hour.
- That day I found out I didn't put in enough flour and it crystalized while still cooking in the oven and came out black. It still tasted good though!

Second Try: I figured out that during the first try, I didn't put in enough flour. I put in a cup and half more and the banana bread came out perfect. I then made the chocolate and did everything correctly. Next class, I will spread the chocolate on top of the banana bread and it should turn out perfect! It was in for 40 minutes and check every 15.

Third Day: I spread the chocolate on top of the bread. I then gave pieces of the bread to my group and they started to fill out my survey. Tomorrow i will make another banana bread and the next day i will make another batch of chocolate. It cooked in 30 minutes.

Fourth Day: I made another batch of banana bread and am not making another chocolate mix because I have enough. Next class, I might make 1 more batch if not i will start writing my paper. It was checked every 10 minutes and finally taken out at 40 minutes.

I made the last batch of Banana Bread. It was in for 40 minutes. Next class, I will finish with applying chocolate on top of the bread and will present to the school on Thursday and Friday.

The Food Fair went successfully. Everyone who tried my dessert loved it and some people even took seconds! It was all gone by the end. There really wasn't any negative critiquing. Overall, it was a successful dessert.
